Michael Ray Alexander was born to Lawrence and Patricia Alexander at Tripler Army Medical Center in Waipahu, Hawaii. He is the second-oldest of his siblings – older brother Jason, sister Joni, and little brother Coty. His parents separated and his mother moved him and his siblings to Fort Worth, Texas when he was two. Today, he resides in Godley, Texas. From humble beginnings, he became a football and track star in high school. After high school, he decided to serve our country, joined the Navy, and attended Yeoman A School. After a stint in prison, he started his construction business and has been in many high-level executive roles ever since.

Earned his black belt in just six years in 2015 and became the number 1 contender for F2W at light heavyweight.
As an executive in construction:
He was intricately involved in the Globe Life Field Stadium (Texas Rangers Stadium), and several other high-profile projects across the country totaling billions of dollars. (Tesla, Texas Live, Live by Leows Hotel)

As a commentator:
Michael Alexander, also known as Black Belt Mike, commentated for Fight2Win before being signed by Fury Fighting Championships as a color commentator on UFC Fight Pass. He was also a member of the commentary team for the Inaugural UFC Fight Pass Invitational at the UFC Apex in 2021. As of now, two of his ring interviews are the most watched on the UFC FP social media page.
Today, he has commentated over 40 shows on UFC Fight Pass and is an executive for a construction company. However, his passion for speaking has led him to help others by speaking on various topics ranging from overcoming childhood trauma and having a winner's mindset; to improving in jiu-jitsu and construction operations.
